Solutions for Therapeutic and Diagnostic Manufacturing at TIDES 2025

News

Aurorium is attending the TIDES conference in San Diego from May 19 to 22, 2025, to launch an extension of its Haelium™ product line, designed for oligonucleotide and peptide therapeutics and diagnostic manufacturing. This initiative marks our strategic extension into this market, leveraging our expertise in pyridine chemistry and high purity solutions.

Our very own Colin Smith, Innovation Leader for Pharma, will be presenting a talk on Overcoming Impurities in Therapeutic APIs: Transforming Reagent Solutions for Solid and Liquid Phase TIDES Synthesis (more about this later).

The Need for High-Purity Reagents

Market demand is now shifting the goal line for higher-purity, next generation solutions; that require deeper innovative and integrated support for complex synthesis challenges. In response, Aurorium is introducing its own branded portfolio to directly serve the evolving needs of the industry and address the chemistry expertise gap that many manufacturers face. By connecting and becoming an extension of our customer’s development team, we have been able to unblock several customer developmental hurdles.

Introducing Haelium Oligonucleotide and Peptide Reagents

Our Haelium reagent line optimizes Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS) and Liquid Phase Peptide Synthesis (LPPS) workflows. Built on Aurorium’s strengths, Haelium reagents offer benefits like higher coupling efficiency, reduced side reactions, and improved purification.

Featured Products

  • Haelium Piperidine 800: Minimizes unwanted side reactions in peptide synthesis by controlling n-pentylamines down to <500 ppm.
  • Haelium Pyridine 900: Reduces degradation of sensitive reagents with its exceptionally low water content (down to 30 ppm).
  • Haelium Pyridine: Low residual impurities and various packaging options for use in SPPS and LPPS.
  • Haelium Lutidine 500: Used in oligonucleotide synthesis and other API syntheses, it has the lowest residual impurities and water content <100 ppm for excellent color stability.
  • Haelium AccelOx 9010: Enhances oxidation reagents in SPPS by reducing maturation time and maximizing selectivity.
  • Haelium Ox 9010: A pyridine/iodine reagent system for effective oxidations during SPPS.
